Before you start

Open Thunderbird email client

Connect Cryptoucan to the computer

Open OpenPGP SmartCard Details window

It’s in the upper right corner of the window

Click the Enigmail option

This will open its sub-menu

Choose the option Manage SmartCard …

Now you got to the OpenPGP SmartCard Details window

Enable editing in this window

Click the SmartCard option at the top bar

This will open its menu

Choose the Edit Card Data option

Now you can edit details in this window

Fill out the fields

Firstname, Name

Fill in the name of device’s holder

Language

Use the standart ISO 639-1, e.g. en, cs, de, pl…

Gender

Force Signature PIN

Thunderbird will ask you for your PIN everytime you’ll try to sign an email

Click Save

This will prompt you to enter PIN on your Cryptoucan

Enter Administrative PIN3

Enigmail will ask you to enter Administrative PIN3

Enter the PIN using Cryptoucan’s keypad

Confirm it by pressing the hexagon symbol in the bottom right corner of the keypad

Once the Change SmartCard window disappears the process is done
