Installing Enigmail

Before you start

Download and install Thunderbird email client

Go to the Extensions window in Thunderbird

Open Thunderbird

It’s in the upper right corner of the window

Choose option Add-ons

New tab within Thunderbird will open

Go to the Extensions tab

That’s in the menu on the left side of the window

Find Enigmail extension

Extensions window will open

That’s in the upper right corner of the window

Press Enter

New tab will open

Containing results of your seach

Install Enigmail

Press Add to Thunderbird next to the Enigmail option

Software Installer window will pop up

Click Install Now

It may take a second for the button to activate

It will take a second for it to install

Notification bar saying Enigmail was successfully installed will appear at the top of the page

It will also appear in the Add-ons Manager tab

You’ll find the tab at the top of the window

And that’s it!
