Before you start

Open your web mail in browser

Connect Cryptoucan to your computer

PGP/inline decrypting - Part 1

PGP/inline encoding shows you encrypted text in the body of the email

Mailvelope envelope will appear over the text

Click the Mailvelope graphics that appeared over the text

New window will open

PGP/inline decrypting - Part 2

You will be asked to enter User PIN1

Enter it using Cryptoucan’s keypad

Enter User PIN1

Confirm the entered PIN by pressing the hexagon symbol in the bottom right corner of the keypad

The text of the message will now appear

PGP/MIME decrypting - Part 1

In Gmail, you will receive two files

Depending on your email provider, Mailvelope behavior may be different

Open the one called “encrypted.asc”

Encrypted text will appear in new window

Mailvelope envelope will appear over the text

Click the Mailvelope graphics that appeared over the text

PGP/MIME decrypting - Part 2

New window will open

You will be asked to enter User PIN1

Enter it using Cryptoucan’s keypad

Enter User PIN1

Confirm the entered PIN by pressing the hexagon symbol in the bottom right corner of the keypad

The text of the message will now appear

And that’s it!
