Signing files from the context menu

Before you start

Have GPGTools package installed

Connect Cryptoucan to the computer

Get to OpenPGP: Sign File window

Right-click the file you want to encrypt

Choose Services option

That’s at the very bottom of the menu

Choose OpenPGP: Sign file

in the sub-menu

OpenPGP: Sign file window will open

Choose your key for the signature

Choose your key

Click Choose Key

Entry PIN window will open

asking you to enter User PIN1

Sign the file

Enter User PIN1 on Cryptoucan’s keypad

green number 1 will indicate which PIN to enter

Confirm it by pressing the hexagon symbol

The process may take a second to complete

Check the signed file

Click OK in the window confirming the process is finished

New, signed file appeared next to the original one

Send both documents to the dedicated person

And that’s it!
